Ted Hearne composes vocal music in what used to be called the "indie classical" style incorporating pop/vernacular influences and generally writing so that audiences will receive it.  Here he collaborates with the slam poet Saul Williams on a piece redolent of R&B and indie rock as well as more, um, "experimental" musics.
