The Vision Festival pays tribute to the distinguished jazz modernist pianist Dave Burrell, who's been very very good for a very long time without ever quite becoming a household name.  The night-long show features Burrell performing with various different ensembles -- all great.  Let's just look at some of the sax players:  '60s/'70s in-and-out legend Archie Schepp; New Orleans free jazz legend Kidd Jordan; Darius Jones, too young to be a legend, but one of my personal fave current avant-gutbucket players.  It would be very hard to overstate how highly I recommend this show.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  This show is likely to end pretty late.  So the open-late Building on Bond/Robert combo of casual burgers and semislinky cocktails seems apt.
