Deradoorian is a singer on the Brooklyn indie scene, probably best known for her stint in Dirty Projectors.  She's established a fruitful solo career, though -- although it must be said that the transition from the beguiling Middle Eastern-tinged, classically inflected psych-pop of her first album to the New Age musings of her second album was a bit distressing.
