A week-long (more or less) residency by this sonic explorer whose music is visceral as well as intellectually stimulating.  Every show looks good, but given the leanings of this List I have to give a special shout-out to the final program Saturday night, a "21st-Century Dance Crazes" collection of dance tunes, Annie Gosfield-style.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:   It's not like the nice, homey Da Andrea is the greatest Italian (Emilia-Romagnan, basically) restaurant in New York -- or even the twentieth greatest.  But I'll tell you what:  you won't be sad you ate there.  Not remotely.
