Fifteen years ago it seemed like DFA Records's DOR revival was going to take over the world (or at least New York City).  Now, it's as much an object of nostalgia as DOR was back then.  The highlight of this DFA night is the New York live debut of CCFX, a dream pop group with a noteworthy singer.  The rest of the long night will feature DJ sets by various DFA luminaries.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  First thing, inside the venue, remember to get drinks in the upstairs cocktail lounge rather than at the bars in the music rooms:  the drinks are much better upstairs.  Before or after the show, hipster Nicaraguan food (and infinitely better drinks than even at the venue cocktail lounge) at Chicha.
