The chamber ensemble Desdemona is joined by percussionist Adam Holmes for pieces by Holmes himself, the interesting (and very present in 1 Rivington this week) multi-media electro-acoustitian David Bird, and Sofia Gubaidulina. When Gubaidulina is the most Old Skool entry on a program, you know it's pretty rad.
