A Bunraku — trad Japanese puppet theater — update of an 18th Century true-crime play about the joint suicide of a courtesan and a clerk in Osaka (Kristine Haruna Lee's contemporary riff, done in Bushwick last winter, will be reprised off-Broadway early next year). Chances of this being spellbinding: at least 98%.
