The Aizuri Quartet — who are quickly moving from "rising" to "risen" — bring a program of Old, New, and Standard. The Old is a Hildegard arrangement. The new is Caroline Shaw's Blueprint quartet (which this ensemble has recorded to excellent effect). The Standard doesn't get much better: late Haydn and the mighty Brahms Piano Quintet (with pianist/Music Mondays Artistic Director Aaron Wunsch).
