Scottish-in-Norway experimental music composer/performer Alwynne Pritchard comes to Brooklyn with a new piece recently premiered in Bergen, bringing along the Norwegian Alpaca Ensemble in their U.S. debut. Avant-jazz diva Patti Waters did something memorable with the folk tune "Black Is the Color" in the '60s; expect something memorable from Pritchard as well, exploring, we are told distance and memory.
