I'm already kind of crazy about Latin American Baroque, in which Spanish Baroque usages are livened up by catchy indigenous rhythms.  Now we get to discover the virtually unkown Latin American Classical, with some string quartets from the Peruvian Pedro Ximénez de Abrill Tirado ("the Rossini of the Americas"), who lived up in Arequipa and whose music incorporates Andean elements.  The Eybler Quartet — experts in period performance of early string quartets — throws in some early Beethoven to contrast what people were doing in Europe at the time.
