This musical adaptation of an incredibly bitter showbiz comedy by Kaufman & Hart is one of Stephen Sondheim's more problematic creations.  But making sense of problematic works is Fiasco Theater's jam.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  This is DARK.  You'll want a drink.  The Rum House is the clear neighborhood choice.  They have snacks -- but don't be too hungry.  For food, you can do worse than Trattoria Tre Colori a few doors down.
