A three-night mini-festival of free jazz, featuring a cornucopia of great music and musicians.  Thursday night features on a new multi-media work by William Parker; Friday night a new music-and-dance piece by Dave Burrell; and Saturday night a new composition by Andrew Cyrille.  This is all great stuff.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Rocco DiSpirito's return to "serious" cooking at The Standard Grill certainly has people talking.  Hard to believe there was a time when he was one of the best chefs in New York City.
