It seemed something like a miracle when this African-American proto-punk band from Detroit, inactive since being ignored in the '70s, reappeared to much acclaim ten years ago.  Now that they're continually around, it seems less like a miracle and more like just a really good band.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Telewala isn't fancy.  But its Indian street food is good and fresh.  And it'll probably be open.
