Composers Concordance assembles an all-star crew of instrumentalists -- to name two of the starriest, violinist Lara St. John and pianist Kathleen Supové -- to play music inspired by photos, paintings, and films about animals.  Among the composers are the lively Lukas Ligeti and the rock-inflected Randall Woolf(who happens to be married to the pianist).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Did you know there's a modest Alsatian restaurant on East 33rd Street?  Me neither.  It's called Le Tarte Flambée.
