Two of the better pop debutantes of last year are touring together (the very best comes to New York next week).  Both are what you might call neo-R&B, and both are unfailingly intelligent and musically interesting.  Jorja Smith is downtempo and thoughtful.  Kali Uchis adds some tropical spice to the mix. Their albums were both great.  Let's see how they do live.
