Reed player Anna Weber is one of Brooklyn's most invaluable jazz players, here leading a trio. JP Schlegelmilch is a little fusiony for my taste (when I insist that GENRE MUST DIE, I don't mean that music must turn to mush) -- but he promises a set of piano trios indebted to American Maverick faves Charles Ives, Henry Cowell, and Lou Harrison, so let's give him a chance.
