Just the kind of eclectic program Your Compiler adores: a small string ensemble plays a mixture of old stuff (French Baroque), Swedish folk music, and new stuff: new pieces and arrangements by Gabriella Smith and Paul Wianoko, who demonstrated their skill at writing for strings by composing two of the best pieces on the Aizuri Quartet's great debut album last year.
