This New Music chamber ensemble presents, among other things, a new-to–New York piece by a composer whose work I just adore, Kati Agócs.  You can tell she descends, in part, from the country that gave us Bartók:  she displays a similar combination of lyricism and visceral attack — with her own fresh contemporary spin.
