Composer/performer and all around Alt Classical (bet he hates that term) good guy Brian McCorkle presents an evening of music and discussion taking off from philosper Peter "Contemporary Art is Post-Conceptual Art" Osbourne, raising such questions as "what does it mean to call music that's nearly 100 years old 'New'?"  Performances by pianist Sugar Vendil, interdisciplinary artist Jean Carla Rodea, and sax/percussion duo Popebama will provide launching points.
