That's right: actual live theater (with an extremely limited audience). In the past, this piece would have been called "dystopian". But is it even possible to have dystopian theater any more? Isn't the word for that now "realist"? Anyway, this one's about love, revolution, drag, queerness . . . actually, doesn't sound very dystopian. Sounds hopeful. So maybe the word for it is "escapist" (NOT a pejorative) (especially not now)?
