Aaron Diehl just may be the most strictly elegant composer/pianist working in jazz right now.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Roosevelt:  pour 1-3/4 oz. dark Rum, 1/2 oz. dry Vermouth, and 1/4 oz. orange juice, with 1/4 teaspoon of sugar, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with an orange twist.
