Excerpts from an adaptation of Ionesco's Victims of Duty — so you know it's going to be fierce, visceral, lunatic, and funny as hell.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Scofflaw:  pour 2 oz. Rye, 1 oz. dry Vermouth, and 3/4 oz. each of lemon juice and Grenadine, with 2 dashes of orange bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
