No, this new digital opera was not written by the former Met, but rather the eclectic and compelling Mexican-in-New-York composer — in conjunction with another ace librettist (and my fellow law escapee), Cerise Lim Jacobs.  It uses advanced technologies, 3D avatars, etc. — while referencing various folk cultures.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Chignon:  pour 2 oz. Reposado Tequila, 1/4 oz. Bénédictine, and 1/2 oz. each of orange juice, lime juice, and Orgeat into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with an orange twist.
