Shipwrecked barge workers try to set up a government on their new island home (but they're all high on the ship's petroleum cargo).  In other words, a non-metaphorical presentation of the 2020 election.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Jungle Bird:  pour 1-1/2 oz. each of Jamaican (or Puerto Rican) Rum and pineapple juice, 3/4 oz. Campari, and 1/2 oz. each of lime juice and Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a rocks glass (NO ice).  Garnish with an orange slice.
