Vocal and instrumental music by possibly the greatest composer in the European classical tradition, and also by one of the most sheerly enjoyable.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Mead Ambrose:  pour 2 oz. blended Scotch and 1 oz. Mead (your choice:  tend toward the drier side), with 3 dashes of orange bitters, in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a rocks glass over ice.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
