I often wish singer-songwriter Simora Pinderhughes were less pretentious and less sentimental.  Well, nothing to be done about the sentimentality — but if he were less pretentious, he wouldn't be joining Jack DeBoe in creating a "transformative concert event" engaging in "an intimate, radical experiment in multi-genre storytelling".

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Roselyn Cocktail:  pour 2 oz. Gin, 1 oz. dry Vermouth, and 1/4 oz. Grenadine into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
