The English New Music ensemble Psappha comes to you from Manchester England England with Berio's great Sicilian folk adaptation Naturale; a Helmut Lachenmann piece, Serynade, that like all Lachenmann's pieces doesn't sound anything like the instruments used (in this case, a solo piano) usually sound; and new pieces by two composers I'll bet we'd have heard of if we lived in England (OK kidding kidding: we've heard of Betsy Jolas).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Lady Stoneheart : pour 2 oz. Punt e Mes and 1 oz. Simple Syrup, with 12 dashes of Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Top with Champagne. Garnish with an orange twist.
