Spring of last year, the sovereign International Contemporary Ensemble and the Meridionalis vocal ensemble gave the U.S. premiere of Claude Vivier's mind-blowing opera Kopernicus at ISSUE Project Room, with projected psychedelic visuals by the Argentine artist Sergio Policicchio. It was a pretty amazing experience. Now, Policicchio has reworked his visuals for online video transmission, and they will accompany an audiotape of last year's musical performance. THAT'S the way to do this (not a video of a roomful of other people watching indistinctly transmitted visuals). Expect to have your mind blown.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Montreal: pour 3/4 oz. each of Gin, Rye (preferably Canadian), Aperol, and Suze into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
