Shipwrecked barge workers try to set up a government on their new island home (but they're all high on the ship's petroleum cargo). In other words, a non-metaphorical presentation of the 2020 election.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Nothing but Martinis this week: we need something STRONG. Pour 2 oz. Gin and 1 oz. dry Vermouth into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
