Turning what was supposed to be a live piece into a remote piece, Split Britches perspicaciously sets out to address impermanence. (This is what happens when the avant garde enters its sunset years.)

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Glasgow: pour 2 oz. blended Scotch, 1 oz. dry Vermouth, and 1 teaspoon of Absinthe, with 1 dash of Peychaud's bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. (See what I'm still doing here?) Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. You can garnish with a lemon twist if you feel like it.
