Pair this with Tenet and you can have a fully Baroque Thanksgiving (although in Canada, where this is being broadcast from, they somehow think Thanksgiving was on October 12). Baroque composers often tried to directly depict emotional states in music; this concert focuses on such pieces. Tafelmusik is a splendid band.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Toronto: pour 2 oz. Canadian Whisky and 1/4 oz. each of Fernet and Simple Syrup, with 2 dashes of Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.
