Composer/vibes player Bill Ware and an ace combo play (live!) his score for Lotte Reiniger's pioneering 1926 feature-length animated film (the oldest one still extant), the Thousand and One Nights pastiche The Adventures of Prince Achmed, as the great movie is streamed. This is going to be FANTASTIC!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Alladin: pour 1-1/2 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. St-Germain, 1/4 oz. Campari, and 3/4 oz. lemon juice, with 2 dashes of lemon (or, if you have any, yuzu) bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Throw in a basil leaf and shake some more. Strain into an ice-filled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
