Another reading of Belarusian playwright Andrei Kureichik's reflective yet incendiary play Insulted. Belarus(sia), in solidarity with Belarusian dissident protestors. I fear that by Sunday it will become apparent how crucial it is for us Americans to get up to speed on how to attempt to oust a Russian-backed dictator after a spoofed election, as we'll no doubt be called upon to do.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Nothing but Martinis this week: we need something STRONG. Pour 2 oz. Gin and 1 oz. dry Vermouth into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist. Out of solidarity with our Belarusian brothers and sisters, you can make it a Vodka Martini (really called a Kangaroo, but there are more important things to care about now).
