A great night of experimental music.  The Clebs (vocalist Emilie Weibel and percussionist Jason Nazary) do dreamy electropop — but that description sounds so much more conventional than their music actually is.  Joanna Mattrey plays viola in experimental improvisational and various pop styles (she plays with Tredici Bacci!); tonight she's joined by a jazz-oriented guitar and trumpet.  And stud1nt is one of the most rewarding electronic musicians in New York right now; she's joined here by local free jazz legend Daniel Carter on reeds/winds and another excellent electronic musician, Jonah Rosenberg.  Special.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Before the show, pizza at Houdini Kitchen Laboratory.  After the show, some of the best beer in the world at Evil Twin.
