Violist/composer Jessica Pavone and guitarist Ava Mendoza — two of the key musicians in Brooklyn — close out the winter music series they're curating by presenting sets by the unpredictable jazz guitarist Jessica Ackerley playing with drummer Marc Edwards, who started in free jazz and migrated to noise; and by the Skull Practitioners, featuring the guitarist from the reconstituted version of The Dream Syndicate (the '80s LA Paisley band, not the '60s NYC drone legends).
