I guess if recommended Television without Richard Lloyd last year, I should recommend Richard Lloyd without Television this year.  Unlike his former ('70s) band's pre-post-punk-meets-Coltrane-and-ascends-to-heaven, Lloyd does fairly straightforward power pop.  But it's good — even if never gets near heaven.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Before the show, treat yourself to local-grain pasta and roasts from a giant oven at Faro.
