If you don't know art-cabaret artiste Joseph Keckler, you should.  And here's a good chance!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Gin & It:  another Sasha Petraske favorite — essentially a Martini with sweet instead of dry Vermouth (or, looked at another way, an Americano with different proportions and without club soda).  Pour 2 oz. Gin and 1 oz.  sweet Vermouth into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, stir, strain into a Martini glass or coupe, and garnish with a lemon twist.
