Pedal Muzijevic may be the most elegant pianist in New York.  Tonight, from his no doubt elegant apartment, he plays a searching program including everybody's new obsession, C.P.E. Bach, as well as Anthiel, Cage, Satie, and Philip Glass.  I don't know about you, but this is exactly what I like.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  An elegant cocktail for an elegant musician:  a Valencia.  Pour 2-1/2 oz. Gin and 1/2 oz. Fino Sherry into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, stir, and strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Flame an orange peel into it and use the flamed peel as a garnish.
