This evening The Kitchen live streams Greg Fox.  Fox started out as a drummer — and he's a great one — but he's evolved into a full interdisciplinary multi-instrumentalist, a stalwart of NYC's musical avant-garde music scene (have I ever told you how much I hate the term "avant-garde", BTW?).  Who knows what he'll do this evening?

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  I'm feeling a Diamondback.  Stir 2 parts Gin, 1/2 part each Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy (if you don't have any of this, GET SOME — your life will be better!) and Yellow Chartreuse in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Strain into a Martini glass or coupé.  A little Autumnal for early April, maybe — but I really love this drink.
