Marni Kotak famously held a durational performance several years ago that culminated in the live birth of her son in the Microscope Gallery.  So don't expect small things from this.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Just in case you have a bunch of different obscure bitter apéritifs laying around, here's a way to make good use of them:  Le Bateleur.  Pour 2 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. Punt e Mes, 1/2 oz. Strega, and 1/4 oz. Cynar, with a dash of Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, stir, and strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with an orange twist.
