Quince is as good a contemporary vocal ensemble as you could hope to hear:  even more fun to listen to than they are to hang with.  Tonight, you'll get to both, as they celebrate their new recording of David Lang's superb song cycle love fail (David apparently doesn't know how to use the shift key) with a performance of the piece, an interview with the composer — and extended shenanigans!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  A drink as fizzy as the Quinces:  the Hayes Fizz.  Rinse a chilled tall glass with Absinthe and put it in some ice.  Pour 2 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. each of lemon juice and Simple Syrup, and 2 oz. club soda into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, shake a lot, and strain into the Absinthe-rinsed tall glass.  Garnish with an orange twist and a cocktail cherry.
