First, the players:  the excellent bassist/composer Sam Suggs; New York's own Amanda Gookin, a questing and involved cellist; and flautist Tim Munro, whom you may remember from his time in Eighth Blackbird.  Next, and more important, the music:  some Suggs, of course; List fave Eve Beglarian; Amy Beth Kirsten; and the composer who has established himself, along with Pauline Oliveros and John Luther Adams, as my own personal Quarantine go-to guy, J.S. Bach.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  An Abbey Cocktail just seems nice on a Sunday afternoon:  pour 1-1/2 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. Lillet Blanc, and 1 oz. orange juice, with a dash of orange bitters (or Angostura if you prefer) (but really:  orange) into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with a flamed orange peel.
