MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  The American Trilogy:  put a brown sugar cube into an UNchilled rocks glass and saturate with 4 dashes of orange bitters.  Add about a teaspoon of club soda and muddle to a paste.  Add 1 oz. Rye and 1 oz. Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy (I've TOLD you you need to get some of this) and stir a good deal.  Now put in an ice cube, and garnish with an orange twist.  You can drink now.
