Pianist Adam Tendler is one of the ornaments of the New York music scene, one of those who have turned the New Music ghetto into a playground.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Wooden Ship:  pour 1 oz. Gin, 1 oz. Genever, and 1/2 oz. each of Grand Marnier and Simple Syrup, with a dash of bitters (Fee's Whiskey Barrel-Aged by preference), into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, stir, and strain into a chilled rocks glass.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
