A particularly appealing weekly solo recital from flautist and List cover girl Louna Dekker-Vargas.  Exquisite French Baroque from Marin Marais (let's hope it's the sublime "La Folia" [or "Les Folies d'Espagne" if you're French like Marais] Variations — but it'll be exquisite whatever it is).  More French music from Eugene Bozza, who managed to write enchanting tonal trad French wind music even in the 20th Century.  And improvisations on Ravi Shankar's Improvisations from "Pather Panchali"!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Bet you never heard of a Mah-Jongg Cocktail:  pour 2 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. white Rum, 1/2 oz. Cointreau into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupé.  Seems perfect for a sprightly late afternoon recital.
