Saxophonist Melissa Aldana has a unique melodic/improvisational conception — and what's more, she's just plain good to listen to.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Cosmonaut:  pour 2 oz. Gin and 3/4 oz. lemon juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Dump in a teaspoon of raspberry preserve.  Shake.  REALLY shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
