Another Jazz Gallery initiative, this one featuring musical segments recorded by the participating artists during the week preceding the stream, and then live chat with the artists afterward.  Tonight we have Miles Okazaki, a guitarist who manages to be pathbreaking while staying In The Tradition; Walter Smith III, another great young(ish) saxophonist, more of the Lester Young school than Dayna Stephens's Coleman Hawkins school; Luciana Souza, a Brazilian jazz/pop singer who is just a dream; and Tineka Postma, a sax player I've never heard of but who's from the Netherlands.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Let's use still more Honey Syrup.  The Stark:  pour 1-1/2 oz. Bourbon, 3/4 oz. Yellow Chartreuse, and 1/2 oz. each of lime juice and Honey Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled rocks glass, add ice, and give it a generous float of Angostura bitters.
