Ethan Iverson is a fluent jazz pianist who also is fully conversant with classical and indie rock.  You may have known him in the past as a member of The Bad Plus, or Mark Morris's music director.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Silver Fox:  pour 1 egg white, 1-1/2 oz. Gin, 3/4 ox. lemon juice, and 1/2 oz. Orgeat in a cocktail shaker with no ice.  Dry shake.  Add ice.  Shake again, hard.  Pour into a chilled Highball glass.  Top off with club soda, and then a float of 1/2 oz. Amaretto.  Drink through a (I hope metal) straw.
