Multidisciplinary artist Jeanine Oleson, with accomplices, explores the use and usability of the remote online onscreen medium while reexamining language and ideas about subject and alienation.
MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Another Audrey Saunders favorite, the French Pearl: muddle a spearmint sprig in a cocktail shaker with 3/4 oz. each of lime juice and Cane Syrup (slightly harder to make yourself than Simple Syrup, so feel free to buy some). Pour in 2 oz. Gin and 1/4 oz. Pastis or Absinthe. Fill the shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lime wheel and another spearmint sprig.
