Dafnis Prieto is really one of my favorite currently active musicians.  A percussionist with a unique, highly individual style — and, what's more, a unique, highly individual compositional voice.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  There really is nothing better than a Hemingway Daiquiri:  pour 1-1/2 oz. white Rum, 1/4 oz. each Maraschino liqueur and grapefruit juice, and 3/4 oz. lime juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with a lime wedge.
